(Junior) Sales Engineer (m/w/d) UK

Your responsibilities:

  • Develop leads within major OEMs’ supply chains and service provider
  • Maintaining relationships and expanding opportunities in existing customers
  • Expansion into customers of the global group that have UK entities
  • Identification and evaluation of new business opportunities
  • Coordination of Formula Student workshops and comm’s strategy
  • Identifying and resolving client concerns; recommending a course of action to alleviate these concerns in the future
  • Create and implement a targeted contact plan for the various customer technical simulation domains (e.g. vehicle dynamics, ADAS, powertrain)
  • Explore and apply for government research funding grant opportunities
  • Work directly with the engineering teams to ensure customer project requirements are met
  • Monthly sales reporting management to the parent company (forecasting, achievements etc)
  • Reviewing and approving test licence requests and following these new leads
  • Manipulating global comm's material and generating information for specific UK customer applications

Your profile:

  • Engineering graduate or a chartered engineer
  • This position requires independent problem solving and decision making with only broad direction given on assignments
  • Minimum 2 years of professional experience in a technical role, preferably automotive
  • Sales, marketing or business development experience useful
  • Good humoured, proactive personality with high levels of initiative and integrity
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Willingness to travel nationally when required
