Business Development Executive (m/w/d) UK

Your responsibilities:

  • Identification and evaluation of new business opportunities
  • Establishing and maintaining relationships with relevant contacts at well-known automobile manufacturers and suppliers as well as universities
  • Develop new UK customer leads
  • Create a short term, weekly, targeted contact plan for the various customer domains (e.g. vehicle dynamics, ADAS, powertrain)
  • Promote Group news stories and events within the UK customer base
  • Explore government research funding grant opportunities
  • Create a UK brand awareness campaign: Exhibitions; Seminars; Press releases
  • Development of strategies for the positioning and marketing of our products and services
  • Sales administration, throughout the whole sales cycle via ERP and CRM tools
  • Coordination of Formula Student workshops and comm’s strategy

Your profile:

  • This position requires independent problem solving and decision making with only broad direction given on assignments
  • Several years of professional experience in a sales, marketing or business development position, preferably with exposure to technical subjects such as automotive engineering
  • Good humoured, proactive personality with high levels of initiative and integrity
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Willingness to travel nationally when required
